Executive Management Team
Ross Kyrwood - Chief Executive Officer

Ross has held the State Director position at Mission Australia since 2008. During his time at Mission Australia he oversaw the alignment of management processes with government thinking and ensured the organisations policies were at all times relevant in the areas of homelessness, youth, children and families.
Ross was also CEO of the Children’s Services Support Unit of WA for three years during which time he recruited a new Board, developed the strategic plan, created and established the organisation’s mission and developed key business partnerships with a number of large mining corporations.
From 1999 – 2005 Ross worked at the Salvation Army. His first year was spent as Community Development Manager. Ross then went on to spend four years as Program Manager of Crossroads West and then five years as Director of Crossroads West.
Ross holds a Masters Degree in Leadership and Management, Post Grad Certificate in Management, Associate in Theology and The Salvation Army Diploma. He is a Board Member of Community Employers of WA and a member of the WA Council on Homelessness.

Andy Buckton - Executive Manager, Corporate Services

Andy joined YMCA Perth in 2002. He has held a number of senior management roles within the broader YMCA including CEO of Eastern Goldfields Oasis and YMCA Perth Recreation Manager. As the inaugural Centre Manager of Goldfields Oasis and Aqua Jetty he was responsible for the roll out of both recreation centres. Andy has a Master of Science in Sport & Recreation Management, a degree in Business Studies and over 20 years experience in sports and recreation management.
In his current role, Andy uses his extensive range of operational experience to establish systems and processes that enable effective support required for the organisations ongoing growth. As part of his current role he oversees a number of projects including the construction of the new Ashdale Early Learning Centre and the $1.3 million renovation of YMCA Perth Head Office. Andy also has a key role in the implementation of the Strategic Plan.

Jennie Burns - Executive Manager, Family & Children's Services

Jennie joined the YMCA in 1998. In her current role, Jennie has been responsible for leading the growth of the Department from less than 100 staff to over 350. She has overseen the expansion of programs from eight Outside School Hours Care Services to over 26 including 11 Early Learning Centres, Family Support Programs and a Family Day Care and In-Home Childcare Scheme with a combined turnover of more than $14 million.
Jennie has qualifications in Management, Children's Services and Training and participated int he Leadership WA program in 2010. Jennie also chairs a number of internal committees including the Aboriginal Engagement Strategy Group and has also acted in the position of Chief Executive Officer.

Louise Giolitto - Executive Manager, Youth & Community Services, Accommodation and Training

Louise joined the YMCA in January 2010 and has over 18 years experience in the community services not-for-profit sector. Louise has a comprehensive understanding of the issues faced by young people at risk and homeless youth and has helped establish environments in numerous community services, supporting the development of young peoples' self esteem, confidence and learning ability. Louise understands and constantly monitors the increasing complexities faced by her staff in dealing with a more disadvantaged and volatile client group.
Louise also takes an active role in policy reform, changes processes and community development and she believes the most pressing issue for the community services sector across the board is sustainability. In her current position Louise leads and manages the operations and strategic development of Youth & Community Services, Accommodation and Training.

Rohan Gunton - Executive Manager, Recreation

Rohan joined the YMCA in 2003 and has 16 years experience in the sport and recreation industry with six years experience at senior/executive management level, including four years as a member of the YMCA Perth's Executive Management Team. Drawing on his wealth of operational experience, Rohan provides strategic leadership for the Recreation Department, which currently includes oversight of nine local government recreation and aquatic facilities, the YMCA's expansion into the private fitness centre market as well as the YMCA's suite of community based health and wellbeing programs.
Rohan has a BSocSc. (Leisure Science) and brings a balance of industry experience, common sense and enthusiasm to his role which has seen him succeed in guiding the Recreation Departments growth over recent years.

Diana Versace - Chief Financial Officer

Diana joined YMCA Perth in 2011 and has previously held a number of Senior Executive roles with 25 years experience in a broad range of capacities. Dianas achievements include developing a 5 year financial forecasting model providing a tool for sound business decision making, project managing GST compliance transition and managing an emerging business for 2 years increasing revenue by 60%. Diana brings to the YMCA very sound financial capabilities as well as strong strategic and leadership skills. Her qualifications include a Bachelor of Business Degree and professional memberships to CPA Australia and the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Diana is involved in a number of community services by volunteering her time on a number of Children Charities and several Not-for-Profit boards in the health sector.
In her current role, Diana provides support to the Board, Finance and Risk Committee, Executive Management Team and Finance team.
